The Teen Youth Group at Central Baptist Church exists to help teens know and embrace truth in a culture full of confusion and lies. Each week, our teens come together to deepen their faith and create lasting memories. We are committed to helping navigate your teen years with biblical courage and wisdom. Regardless of where you may be on your personal journey of faith, we invite you to experience Jesus Christ on a personal level and see for yourself the difference He will make in your life.
What We Do
We believe that church should be enjoyed, not endured. Every week, we meet for Sunday school to have Bible study where you’ll be able to connect with friends, learn practical truths that will help you navigate life, and have a great time while you’re doing it. But it doesn’t stop there—Fun group activities, movie nights, and summer camp are just a few other ways we connect and grow throughout the year.
What We Believe
There are big questions that surround us and make each of us wonder about the future. What happens when I die? Where will I spend eternity? The single most important question that you will ever answer is this - “If I were to die today, would I spend eternity in Heaven with God?” Your relationship to Jesus Christ is central to the answer to that question.
The Bible tells us in 1 John 5:13, “These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life...” The simple truth is Jesus loves you, and He wants you to know that you’re going to Heaven.
Sunday School is at 9:30 am on Sunday mornings. Our current study is called "Different by Design". This personal Bible study reveals God’s heart for a biblical lifestyle. In it, you will be challenged not to separate “who you are” from “how you behave.” You will be admonished to live very differently from the world and from today’s “pop-culture.” This study will compel you to “walk worthy”—to live in a way that outwardly honors the Lord—to allow your relationship with Christ to flow into every act, every word, every thought, every deed, and every attitude of life.
